Salty Sweet Pecans

Happy Holidays! Can you believe it’s here?  All the planning, shopping, cooking, anticipating and “bam”.Salted Sweet PecansWell,  I have a fun recipe to share with you, which really should have been shared a month ago, but better late than never.  This one is a crowd pleaser.  I think people are surprised how yummy they are.  The addition of salt to the recipe makes them addicting.Salted Sweet PecansEven though I typically make my pecans at this time of year, they really are yummy enough to snack on year round.  They are also amazing in salads and come January that is all I will be eating.  Enjoy!

2 lbs pecans (Costco)
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 egg whites
2 Tablespoons water

Mix all ingredients together.  Place in jelly roll pan.  Bake at 225 degrees for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes.

It really is that easy and people will think you are amazing.
